Many of us visit Art galleries and museums but perhaps would like to know more about how and why  art is made?

This course is designed to make visits to galleries and museums more enjoyable and rewarding by giving you the confidence  to ask questions about the art you see and the ability to understand its connections with history. It will also provide a useful support for those studying other art related courses.

The workshops  will introduce you to major  movements in Art from the mid 19th century to the present and will  explain what to look for when viewing  works in exhibitions.
